All five of our venues are located in South East Essex. The Peterboat (Old Leigh), The Bellhouse (Eastwood), The Exchange (Southend) and The Trading Room and The Hamlet Court (Westcliff)

Yes of course. All of our menus include vegetarian options and we’re very happy to cater for gluten-free and other dietary needs. A full list of allergens is available on request.

Children with accompanying adults are welcome until 9pm.

Dogs on a lead are welcome in our bars and outside areas and we’ll happily provide a drinking bowl on request.

All venues with the exception of The Bellhouse provide free WIFI access

We do not permit the use of electronic cigarettes or vaporisers outside of the designated smoking areas.

We do not permit the purchase or consumption of alcohol by under 18s at The Exchange, The Trading Room or The Hamlet Court. We do not permit the purchase or consumption of alcohol by under 21s at The Peterboat or The Bellhouse

We have adopted the Challenge 25 policy in all of our pubs. If a member of staff believes that you look under 25 years, you will be asked to prove that you are aged over 18 or 21 years depending on venue.

Acceptable documents to prove your age are a valid passport, UK or Ireland photo card driving licence, UK military ID or any PASS-accredited proof-of-age card. All ID must have a photograph of you, include your date of birth and outline the validity period for the document.

We have both Sky and BT Sports at The Exchange, The Trading Room and The Hamlet Court. We show all major sporting & boxing events, with or without sound. Please contact the venue directly if you would like to know if we are showing a specific match or event.
