Good food and lovely staff, Geoff was our server and he made sure we had everything we needed. Food was fast and overall very happy with our visit.

We met up with some old friends at the Peterboat having booked a table for lunch and we were delighted with the overall experience. Friendly and helpful staff and lovely food. The pub was extremely busy but the servers were very attentive to all diners. Our main server was Amanda and she looked after us so very well. Thank you Amanda.

Really great restaurant with a very mixed and interesting menu, service from Grace was first class and we were given a perfect table position as requested.

We had a lovely lunch down at the Peterboat thanks to our Waitress Millie. Had the buffalo wings which were lovely and the chips are a must. Millie was very attentive and checked up on us with the food, and made sure we got the right gin we liked! Thank you

Started with Lobster Bisque and I would say to anyone, if that is on the menu – go for it. Perfectly seasoned and wonderful texture. Excellent.
Moules Mariniere to follow; if your recent experience with this has been disappointing – tiny mussels, short on flavour – think again here. I went for them and a huge bowl of really good size tender shellfish was brought. They were cooked in wine, garlic with a little cream…perfect! Service from Angela was breezy and friendly – she was very attentive, despite being rushed off her feet! Booking is advised.

Arrived at the Peterboat, warmly greeted by Angela who promptly organised drinks for us. Food served was delicious , nicely presented. Angela was charming, smiley and easily engaged with us, providing excellent service (liked her Scottish thistle)

Had a great Sunday lunch. Really good food. The place was very busy but you wouldn’t know it with the excellent service – particularly our waitress Angela who was amazing.

This was our 4th visit to the Peterboat and once again it did not disappoint – we were served by Gabbie who was an absolute delight – very helpful and attentive. The meal was excellant. My husbanf had Whitebait followed by Fish and Chips whilst I had deep fried Halloumi followed by Caesar Salad. We have booked to go again with Family. Would recommend although parking in Leigh Old Town can be a problem so allow plenty of time.

We went as a group for my husbands birthday with three little ones, the staff could not have been more accommodating and attentive. Brought in the cake with candles and sang Happy Birthday with us!

I went to Leigh on sea on Sunday 5th November with my dog Wilf, unfortunately it got very cold even tho the sun was out, and I wanted something to eat but couldn’t get in anywhere because I had Wilf with me, until I came across The Peterboat, we was greeted at the door by Ellie who assured me it was ok to bring dogs in, I had a lovely Lamb Roast followed by one of the best Chocolate Brownies I’ve had in a long time, all washed down with a pint of Neck Oil,In short the food was great, Ellie happened to be my waitress and she couldn’t do enough for me and all with a lovely smile. I would definitely recommend the Peterboat. Thanks

Fantastic food and good portions and also excellant service from Geoff. The grilled skate and sauted potatoes was outstanding, as was the local cockle stout. Will be back.

What a brilliant place to eat. I’ve been here quite a few times now for lunch and evening dinner.
The service is amazing and the food is spectacular, and they even allow dogs in when you are dining.
Plenty of choice of food to choose from and the selection of drinks is amazing, alcoholic, soft to hot.
Absolutely perfect and a very enjoyable experience as always, would definitely recommend going to.

Second time I have been in the space of a couple of months. 4.5 stars if i could give it that! Angela was our waitress both times and made us feel incredibly well looked after, especially when so busy on NYE!

What can I say about our visit to The Peterboat, great location, great food, very professional, polite staff. we hadn’t booked a table, but the staff were very helpful and found us a table that we could have for the next hour and a half which was just right Our server was Ellie who was professional, polite, and very pleasant and provided a great service.
